You’ll also gain practical de‑escalation strategies and guidance on supporting participants with personal safety, including safe travel to and from activities and building general awareness skills.
Whether you’re dealing with behaviour issues, safeguarding concerns, or simply want greater confidence in creating a supportive club environment, this session will give you valuable tools and insights.
Play Their Way
Wednesday 17th June, 18:30 - 19:30
Every child deserves a positive, safe and enjoyable experience in sport and physical activity. Play Their Way is about putting children first, listening to their voices, respecting their rights and creating environments where they can thrive.
Led by the Children’s Coaching Collaborative, this session introduces the Play Their Way approach, which is helping to kick‑start a movement of coaches, clubs and organisations who are changing the game from the ground up. It encourages a shift towards coaching that is development‑led, inclusive and built around what children need to enjoy sport and stay involved.
